So, I want to know whose brilliant idea it was to discontinue polaroid cameras and film. The man, I assume its a man, should be shot. Excuse me for not thinking that its only a nostalgic piece of equiptment. Polaroid instant film has had me on its side from day one. Lets see..

1. The coloring effects you get are so much cooler than anything you can do in photoshop, and are much more rewarding than clicking a button to get the same effect.

2. There's nothing in digital that can produce the same effect.

3. INSTANT. Do you know how awesome that is? Do you know how effective that is? Work in a classroom like I do(did)? Ever take a picture of a kid and tell him he can't hold it until you find a printer? It's a bad idea.

4. Nostalgia. Produce less of it. Yes, that's a good move. However stopping it completely is ridiculous.

My boyfriend called it "ancient technology." Last I checked we still use things like the wheel. That's ancient technology is it not? Polaroid should find a way to make a digital instant camera before, read, before they take Polaroids off the market!
